About me
The Founding of YEVI-Engineering
YEVI‑Engineering was founded out of a passion for engineering. What once started as developing technical ideas for acquaintances has since grown into a full-time business. In my daily work, I focus on creating and implementing innovative, practical, and technical solutions for a variety of companies.
As a mechanical engineer and designer, I have more than five years of experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and the creation of technical drawings. My focus is on detail engineering and production-ready designs, always taking manufacturability, cost efficiency, and reliability into account. With this production-oriented design approach, I help companies translate concepts on paper into solutions that can be realized in practice.
I enjoy working on a wide variety of projects across different industries. Depending on the project, I can contribute from the initial concept phase through to a fully developed, production-ready design. Throughout the process, I ensure clear communication and a pleasant collaboration with clients and project stakeholders, so that technical decisions are well aligned.
At YEVI‑Engineering, the client comes first. With a hands-on approach, short lines of communication, and a keen eye for detail, I ensure that requirements and expectations are clearly translated into practical technical solutions. This results in designs that are not only correct on paper, but above all prove their value in real-world applications.
About me
My name is Ype Visser. I live in the beautiful town of Dokkum together with my girlfriend. If you’re curious, I’d be happy to tell you more about what I like to do outside of work.
Maintaining a good balance between work, relaxation, and sports is essential to me. Fortunately, I have no shortage of hobbies!
In my free time, I often go out on my motorcycle or cycling to clear my mind. You can also find me on the water while windsurfing. This sport is both challenging and rewarding, offering plenty of opportunities for continuous improvement, and it’s great to be outdoors in nature. To get the most out of these activities, staying fit is important, which is why I also enjoy going to the gym.
In addition to all that sports, I also enjoy spending time on creative projects, such as 3D printing and developing ideas for personal use. Not everything has to be perfect or product-driven; I find it just as enjoyable to simply create and experiment. As a true tech enthusiast, I also like to work on things myself, and I take great pleasure in carrying out maintenance on my motorcycle.
This combination of staying active, being creative, and taking time to relax allows me to approach my work with energy and fresh ideas.
